Privacy at a glance
Updated 14 September 2026. This policy describes Nibble 1.0.1 (build 7) and later builds with the same privacy controls. Earlier builds used the advertising consent flow for analytics; this update introduces a separate analytics choice, off by default.
Nibble is made by Mazen Bougandoura. It has no account, sign-in, cloud save, subscriptions or in-app purchases. All 200 puzzles are included. Levels and cosmetic items unlock through play. Ads support the game.
Data saved on your device
Progress, board marks, stars, seeds, cosmetic selections, hearts and refill times, sound settings, privacy preferences and ad-frequency counters are saved in the app's local storage. We do not operate a game-progress server. Your operating system may include app data in device backups. Deleting app data removes the local save; we cannot restore it for you.
If you separately enable analytics, selected gameplay events and progress measurements described below are sent to Google. Your complete board save is not uploaded by Nibble.
Advertising
Google AdMob supplies a banner on the trail, full-screen ads between some levels, and optional rewarded videos for a hint without a rating penalty, one heart when empty, or a skip when eligible. Ad availability depends on consent, connectivity and ad inventory. Ads that do not appear never create a debt. You may decline rewarded videos and use normal hints, solve the levels, or wait for hearts to refill.
AdMob and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, device and app information, advertising identifiers where permitted, approximate location inferred from IP, diagnostics, and ad interactions to deliver and measure advertising and prevent fraud. Nibble requests non-personalised ads. This does not mean no data is processed.
We request a general-audience ad content rating. Google supplies each creative; report an inappropriate ad to support so we can investigate. We have no access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise GPS location.
Read Google's advertising privacy information and advertising partner information.
Optional gameplay analytics
Firebase Analytics is off until you enable Help & privacy → Share gameplay analytics. Permission to request ads is not treated as permission for analytics. Your choice does not affect access to puzzles, hearts or cosmetics.
When enabled, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand gameplay: level starts and completions, time spent, ratings, hints, abandoned attempts, hearts, cosmetic interactions, and ad offers and outcomes. Google may also collect an app instance identifier, device and app information, diagnostics and approximate geographic information. These identifiers mean this data is not described as anonymous. We do not attach your name or email to gameplay events.
Nibble disables analytics advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation signals. Events from before your opt-in are not buffered for later upload. Turning analytics off stops future collection and resets the local analytics identifier. It does not automatically erase information Google has already processed.
Google retains data according to its service policies and the project's retention settings. Contact us for help with a deletion or access request. See Firebase privacy information.
Your privacy choices
Google's User Messaging Platform checks advertising consent requirements at launch and displays the applicable messages, which may vary by region. Where the service requires it, open Help & privacy → Advertising privacy choices to revisit the form. Nibble discards cached ads when you open that control and checks ad eligibility again afterwards. If a required consent flow or an ad request fails, puzzles remain available offline.
On iPhone and iPad, Apple's tracking permission is requested separately for advertising measurement. You can deny it or change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Nibble requests non-personalised ads regardless of this choice. System tracking controls and in-app advertising consent are separate; changing one does not substitute for the other.
Gameplay analytics has its own switch in Help & privacy. You may withdraw that permission there at any time.
Privacy requests and retention
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain your personal data, withdraw consent, object to processing, or opt out of sale or sharing as defined by applicable law. Contact bmazen85@gmail.com for help. Because Nibble has no account system, we may need information to locate data associated with your installation. Please do not send passwords or payment details.
Advertising choices, including applicable US state opt-outs, are managed through the advertising privacy form when provided by Google. You may also contact us with the subject “Privacy request” or “Do not sell or share”. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
Local game data remains until removed from your device. Google processes and retains advertising and analytics data under its service policies, account settings and applicable requirements; its privacy policy explains international processing and data handling.
Children
Nibble is a general-audience puzzle game, not an app directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us for help with deletion. Store age ratings describe content and do not themselves grant permission for data collection.
Security and changes
Game saves use the app's private storage. Google's SDKs use network connections to provide their services. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We will update this policy when data practices change and request new consent where required.
Support
Email bmazen85@gmail.com with the app version, device and problem. For puzzle issues, include the level number. For an inappropriate ad, include its advertiser and a screenshot if available.
No purchase or restore feature: Nibble does not sell seeds or an ad-free upgrade. All seeds come from level ratings, and the Collection uses earned seeds.
No hearts: one refills every 20 minutes, up to five. A new attempt costs one; resuming an existing attempt is free. A three-star finish returns one. An available rewarded video can also grant one heart when empty.
Lost progress: we do not keep a server copy of your save. Device backup options are managed by your operating system.
